As Yapı Merkezi Holding A.Ş. (“Yapı Merkezi”); we have prepared this “Communication Privacy Notice” to inform you about the processing and storage of your personal data within the scope of the execution of communication activities by the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”) and the relevant legislations.
Purpose, Legal Reason, and Collection Method of Your Personal Data
Yapı Merkezi provides your personal data via the yminfo@ym.com.tr e-mail address and Yapı Merkezi Communication Line. If you contact Yapı Merkezi through these communication channels; your personal data included in the categories of identity (name and surname), contact (phone number, e-mail address), and your data regarding requests/complaints and message content; will be processed limited to the purposes of conducting communication activities, following up requests/complaints, conducting the necessary research/investigations to fulfill the support services on the subject of the request, and providing you with information and support services by the legal reason "Processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller, provided that this processing shall not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject" regulated under subparagraph 5/2 (f) of the Law.
Transferring Personal Data
Yapı Merkezi may transfer your personal data processed for the above purposes to authorized public institutions and organizations, limited to the purpose of providing information to authorized public institutions and organizations to fulfill its legal obligations.
Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data
Regarding your personal data you have the right;
● to learn whether your personal data is processed,
● if your personal data has been processed, request information about it,
● to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with the purpose,
● to know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
● to request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the Law,
● when you request the correction of incomplete or incorrect data and the deletion or destruction of your personal data, request that this situation be notified to third parties to whom we transfer your personal data,
● to object to the emergence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
● in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, demand compensation for this damage.
How To Exercise Your Rights?
You can forward your applications and requests regarding your personal data to Yapı Merkezi via the Data Subject Application Form by;
● By sending an e-mail to kvkk@ym.com.tr,
● By applying in person with a valid identity document,
● By sending it to the address of Burhaniye Mahallesi Hacı Reşit Paşa Sokak No:4 Üsküdar/İstanbul with a wet signature and a copy of the ID,
● By signing with a mobile signature or secure electronic signature and sending an e-mail to kvkk@ym.com.tr
By Communique On The Principles And Procedures For The Request To The Data Controller, the application filed by the Data Subject is required to contain such information as first name, surname, signature (if the application is in writing), T.R. identity number (if the applicant is a foreigner, nationality, passport number, or if any, identity number), residential or office address for notification purposes, and if any, electronic mail address for notification purposes, telephone number, fax number, and information about the subject of the request.
The Data Subject must clearly and comprehensibly state the matter requested in the application to be made to exercise the above-mentioned rights and contain explanations regarding the right requested to be exercised. Information and documents related to the application must be attached to the application.
Although the subject of the request must be related to the person of the applicant, if acting on behalf of someone else, the applicant must be authorized in this regard and this authority must be documented (power of attorney). In addition, the application must contain identity and address information, and documents confirming identity must be attached to the application.
Requests made by unauthorized third parties on behalf of someone else will not be evaluated.
How long will your requests regarding the processing of your personal data be answered?
Your requests regarding your personal data are evaluated and answered as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest from the date they are received by Yapı Merkezi. If your request is accepted or rejected by explaining the reason, our reply will be sent to the address you specified in the application, primarily by postal or e-mail, if possible, in the same manner as your request.
